it's amazing to me how much a 2 yr old can parrot back the things we say when we least expect it. while getting trip dressed yesterday, he (as usual) was kicking his legs & trying to squirm away. i asked him what he was doing. he said matter of factly, "i'm just freaking out!". i doubled over in laughter as i was not expecting him to say that. he took my cue, started laughing, & followed it up with, "that's funny, trip!"... as if to give himself a 'high-five' for his humorous comment. i guess i've told him to stop freaking out one too many times...
